The Problem:

  • There is currently less than 7% tree cover in Kenya

  • Severe climate change country-wide  partly due to deforestation

  • Lack of adequate training in matters concerning environment to school-going children

Our Solution:

  • Teaching the younger generation how to plant and grow trees in their schools.

  • Re-planting indigenous trees in water catchment areas

“We believe the children are our future”

My Little Thing...

It's the little things citizens do. That's what will make the difference. My little thing is planting trees.

— Wangari Maathai

Tree Planting events: We plant but also focus on the growing of trees. By reforesting Kenya’s forests we secure our very own future. #GCD2018 #KereitaForest
